- Twenty-Nine Certain Ideals
- I spent most of the last day of the year finishing Twenty-Nine Certain Ideals (available in the PDF format), and wondering what to do next year. I thought it might be interesting not to make a single photograph during the year, but then abandoned that idea since I'm already working on a project that requires photography. Also, I've been thinking about getting a new Leica, which perhaps invalidates my choice of my lovely battered old 50-Jahre M4 as my model for the camera ideal. Oh well, this piece wasn't called Twenty-Nine Certain Penultimates for a reason.
I destroyed all the original sketches to finish the piece. In the future no one including myself will know some of the ideals represented.
